More on the wild, unlimited and stunning success of the digital revolution

Yesterday brought an email from a brave man called Bill Liversidge. Brave because he gives me some hard data on visits to his blog and viewings of his online novel. And er... well, let's put it this way: business could be brisker.

There are all sorts of comments one could make here -- chiefly about ways and means to improve the situation -- but perhaps the most obvious is that marketing your book on the web isn't just a matter of making it available and then sitting back while the world finds its way to the door. Bill's own conclusion is that a viral marketing campaign is needed, and I agree. And in fact, of course, he's already started it, hasn't he?
