M.J. Rose reports that one Bud Parr has just launched a new 'Litblog Network' which is intended to highlight the 'best' content from the community of bloggers who write about books.
The new site is called MetaxuCafe. I'm not at all sure how it's supposed to work, and even less sure how it is financed. However, someone seems to have put a lot of time and effort into this project, and you might like to keep an eye on it.

It looks like Richard Nash's Soft Skull Press is sponsoring this. It's a pretty big endeavor. I know Richard and I'm tabling near Soft Skull at the Small Press Book Fair in Manhattan this weekend; will ask around about this new metablog.
Very interesting note from Cantara
Christopher.
I have been bothering the great Douglas Rushkoff ( the new McLuhan?)over in New York about my own work. He is extremely gracious and said he'd see if he could pass it along somewhere.
But then, I suppose he would be too large to hang around at the small press book fair...But maybe he would. He has just branched out into comic books, with the idea,
"Change the story and you change the world."
If anybody can rock the world these days, it's very likely Douglas Rushkoff.
